When to Use WEBP Converter
WEBP is useful when you want smaller website images without changing the visible layout of a page. It often works well for blog images, product photos, thumbnails, and landing page graphics.
How to Get a Good Result
- Start with the clearest JPG or PNG version you have.
- Upload the file to the converter.
- Choose a quality level that keeps important details clear.
- Download the WEBP file and compare it with the original.
- Use Image Compressor if you also need to reduce a JPG or PNG copy.
Practical Example
A 1.8 MB JPG blog header may become a much smaller WEBP file while still looking clear on the page. A screenshot with tiny text may need a higher quality setting so the letters remain readable.
Limitations
Some older workflows may still require JPG or PNG. Keep the original file and test the WEBP file in the place where you plan to use it.
